As well as the two comfortable bedrooms, the cottage features a private lounge, kitchen and dining area. Furnished with contempory furniture and a modern kitchen which complement the ancient fabric and character of the building, they provide a place to relax and congregate with friends or family.
For an extra charge we can provide a fresh and appetising breakfast each day of your stay.
When you return from your days activities you can settle down to chat, watch TV or simply "chill" with a drink (perhaps In front of the wood burning stove when it's cold outside).

A cosy slice of history
A Characterful 17th century 2 bedroom cottage, part of Category B Listed Smailholm Granary. Within this purpose developed Self Catering property we are able to offer comfortable accommodation for up to four guests. The suite includes two unique double bedrooms and two bathrooms. We are situated in the small village of Smailholm (once home to Sir Walter Scott) and only 6 miles from Kelso.
